Put on your winter gear and get ready to experience the most enchanting of Niagara Falls attractions: the Winter Festival of Lights.
Experience the magic at Canada's largest free outdoor light festival as it celebrates 40 years.
See the dazzling lights and larger-than-life displays of millions of lights at the spectacular holiday displays in the tourist districts.
The annual winter tradition is celebrated with millions of twinkling lights, engaging displays, and interactive experiences along the Niagara Parkway through the Dufferin Islands and into the tourist districts of Fallsview Boulevard, Lundy’s Lane, and Downtown Niagara Falls. Don't forget to stop for some hot cocoa on the Hot Chocolate Trail! The festival will run from November 12th to February 20th and is, again, free for all to enjoy.
For the 40th anniversary, visitors can expect even more fun! There will be free indoor family entertainment at multiple host venues every weekend and nightly throughout the December holiday period. The Falls will be illuminated every night, and there will be free photos with Santa in December.
Come join in the beauty of this once-every-year winter festival! If you love winter, or if you just want to see a spectacle and some beautiful lights, it's really not that far away. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants where you can have a nice dinner before or after the festival. There is no excuse to miss this!
